Guitar Playing Tips

Always remember that there is a difference between playing and practicing. Keep the two separate.

When you play, don't worry about mistakes, play from the heart, put your emotion into what you are playing.

When practicing if you make a mistake stop and fix it. Work in small parts, work in slow repetitions, and use a metronome.

Note to Students

Remember to practice for 30 minutes at least five times a week. Also spend an equal amount of time playing.

Be aware that these are two different things. Check out this months playing tips for more information.

Party and Event Tips

When serving appetizers be sure to have a variety of items, and try to have some low fat and healthy choices as well.

If you are serving cheese try low fat cheeses. Also consider using tofu as a substitute for higher fat protein in your appetizers or main course..

When serving a veggie tray have a low fat dip, so as not turn a healthy snack into an unhealthy one.
