Utah guitar player Terry Lynn Tschaekofske
Hello, and welcome. As stated above, my name is Terry, and I am a musician, composer, instructor, and artist living in the Salt Lake City area. I have been involved in music since early childhood, and started playing guitar in my teens. Today guitar is my primary instrument. I play a variety of styles, including but not limited to, Rock of all types, Blues, Jazz, Classical, and New Age music. I play both electric, and acoustic guitar. I have been giving private guitar lessons since 1988 and have performed in numerous rock and blues bands since that time as well.
My main focus musically at this time is my solo act. I perform instrumental acoustic guitar in a Contemporary New Age style that I create by blending several different styles together. Currently I am working on my debut solo CD, which is scheduled to be released in 2008. After which some regional tours may follow, as well as many local performances to promote the CD.
Currently I am giving private guitar lesson in Utah and always looking to help eager students learn and grow as musicians. I find it very rewarding to be a guitar instructor in Salt Lake City.
In addition to creating music and giving guitar lessons, I also dabble in art. I do mostly Oil Paintings on canvas. But experiment some with digital media as well. While art is mainly a hobby, I have sold paintings in the past, and hope to do so in the future as well.
